Lyme Disease is an emerging health crisis in the US that goes completely overlooked, and ignored by doctors, insurance companies, and politicians.

It is commonly miscontrused and a misunderstood illness and most people think it can never happen to them. Here are some facts:

*Lyme Disease can be found in every state in America.

*Lyme Disease does not discriminate, anyone could get it.- 25% of reported Lyme Disease cases are children

*Patients are normally misdiagnosed, or told they are fine for years.

*There is no cure for Lyme Disease, if its caught early on (first few weeks you contracted it) and treated with antibiotics you can be ok.

*Keep in mind that the average patient goes 2 years or more until being diagnosed.

*The average patient sees 5 doctors over nearly 2 years before being diagnosed and 40% end up with longterm health problems.

*The tests that doctors strongly rely on miss 44 of every 100 patients- not much better than a coin toss.

*Most people with late stage Lyme are disabled as people with congestive heart failure, and have as much pain as post-surgery patients.

*Patients are misdiagnosed with insanity and that is inside their head, meanwhile their bodies are being destroyed internally.

*There are many conflicts in treatments and diagnosing, which is another problem of why so many patients are being ignored.
Some doctors say:
Long term antibiotic treatment can work
Others say short term can work, if symptoms still remain its because of permanent damage
